The 2015 season is upon us

The 2015 Boston Men's Baseball League season is upon us, whether mother nature likes it or not! Opening Day weekend is just a little over two months away and the league has some exciting news and updates to share regarding the upcoming 2015 season.

Welcome the MSBL MetroWest 28+ Division to the Boston Men's Baseball League!

The MetroWest ABL is joining the Boston MSBL as an additional Age 28+ Division. Founded in 1994, the league plays weekend games in the Central Mass area, such as Framingham, Marlboro, Southboro, and Medway.

Beginning in 2015, this 12-team league will now give the BMBL an additional MSBL division, just as the American League and National League do today. The league's president, Chris Currie, will be the the division's commissioner. The AL and NL will remain 30+ divisions.

Manager Meetings Are Scheduled

Players - Be prepared to hit the cages. Please also dig into your wallets and provide your manager with your 2015 deposit. Team deposits are due by managers at the manager meetings and they need your contributions.

Managers - For details on meeting locations and costs, contact your league commissioner. Information should have been provided to you already.

Save The Date

It may only be February, but we have monster plans. The 2015 All-Star Games have been scheduled for Saturday, August 1 at LeLacheur Park, home of the Lowell Spinners, Single A Affiliate of the Boston Red Sox. Times for each game are TBA, but will include three games:

MABL Bay State vs. MABL Atlantic
MSBL American vs. MSBL National
MSBL MetroWest vs. MSBL Masters

Take the Social Platform Survey

One of our league's players, Chris Corde, is running a survey to get a better perspective on a social player achievement platform that could help us build a better community in 2015 and beyond. If you have a minute, please fill out this short 10-question survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/FKKQGJ8
