Every month, beginning with the month of May, the BMBL administrators will vote on and recognize at least two outstanding players from each of the four divisions for "Offensive Player of the Month" and "Pitcher of the Month".

In the first full month of the 2022 season, the league saw a perfect game, two no-hitters, and nineteen shutouts, however, the month of May still belonged to the long ball.

In the last 31 days, a total of 24 home runs were hit across the BMBL — the highest total for the month of May since 2009 (34).

So far in 2022, a total of 29 dingers have already been hit, and we could be on pace to break the single-season record for home runs in the BMBL wooden-bat era, which began back in 2004.

With all of that said, here are your April/May 2022 "Players of the Month", as voted on by the BMBL administrators.

18+ Division

28+ MetroWest Division
