JM Force wins MSBL AL championship with a perfect 29-0 season

For the first time in BMBL history, JM Force of Hyde Park has completed the perfect season.

With a two-game series sweep (2-0, 13-0) over the Middlesex Brewers in the best-of-three MSBL AL Championship Series, JM Force put the finishing touches on the first perfect season in league history.

The newly-crowned champions finished the 2012 season with a flawless 29-0 record, going 23-0 in the regular season and 6-0 in the postseason while beating opponents by an average of 8 runs per game.

As a team, JM Force finished the regular season with a division-best .396 batting average, and also led the league in runs scored (230), hits (318), doubles (56), home runs (12), OPS (.991), and slugging percentage (.535).

Their regular season dominance would carry over into the postseason, where the Force outscored opponents by a combined margin of 63-13 en route to the franchise's first championship title.

Congratulations to JM Force on winning the 2012 MSBL AL championship and pulling off the first perfect season in BMBL history, and hats off to the Middlesex Brewers on reaching the finals for the second time in three seasons.
