1. In the tourney opener, and going into the eight inning,
the Boston United tied the game 1-1 on a 2-out single by Rob
Dexter (Indians). However, GreenBriar scored 3 in the bottom
of the inning to eventually win 4-1. Eric August (Pirates),
Greg Crossman (Yankees) and Dexter each picked up two hits.
August also pitched the first seven innings allowing only
a single run. The United played solid defensive, led by Josh
Gordon (Whitesox) who ran down alot of fly balls that saved
the United throughout the day.
