Boston Baseball Goes Hollywood

Jimmy Fallon and Drew Barrymore will star in Fever Pitch which will be hitting the theaters in October of 2005. After attending an open casting call where hundreds auditioned, many Boston Men's Baseball League players were selected to be in the film in full uniform. Filming took place at Fenway Park from September 16-23, 2004 from 5PM to 5AM daily. Included in the cast were:

Based on the Nick Hornby novel and brought to you by the Farrelly Brothers, Fever Pitch centers on a guy named Ben (Fallon) and his obsession with the Boston Red Sox. Ben meets Lindsey (Barrymore). They fall in love. All things are wonderful. But their future together is threatened once the baseball season comes around and Lindsey discovers something about Ben...his obsession with the Boston Red Sox.
