On August 22, 2006, Boston Men's Baseball
League players participated in filming a television commercial
for the Japanese vodka iichiko.
Dressed in period uniforms (the actual uniforms used in
Field of Dreams) and using period gloves and bats,
the "actors" were shot fielding their positions,
pitching and batting. The shoot took place in Hudson, MA.
After the shoot, a small taste test was enjoyed by all.
The commercial was first broadcast in the Fall, but only
in Japan. Watch
