Richie Figueroa hit a double and a homer with 4 RBI to lead the offense, Tony Catalano allowed no earned runs through six innings to pick up the 'W'.

Dallas Diamondbacks 8, Wolfpack 5 (record 1-2)
Ozzie Virgil 3-4; Kevin Locke, 2-out, bases-loaded double scored 3 to make it 4-2 in the 7th, but Mel Hall (formerly of the NY Yankees) hit a 3-run HR to cap a 6-run 8th to lead come from behind Dallas victory.

Braves 9, Denver Devil Rays 6 (record 2-1)
Richie Figueroa K's 9 in six innings and goes 3 for 3 with a big 2-RBI triple; Jim Tosches also gets 3 hits. Greg 'Chili' Davis earns (surprising) clutch save.

WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 31

Braves 18, San Antonio Bandits 7 (record 4-2)
Jim Tosches hurls 170 pitch gem. Braves turn 2 double-plays to bring tournament total to 7. The Braves earned a playoff wild card berth.

FRIDAY NOVEMBER 2
Playoffs - Quarterfinals
Wolfpack 17, St. Louis Game Face 4
Offense power supplied by Russ Ward, Paul Calvi, Alex Masel, and a three-run bomb by Ozzie Virgil. Tremendous pitching performance by Steve Donovan.

Braves 5, Coulumbus Ohio 3
Tony Catalano got the win, with Phil Sartori earning a save.

Playoffs - Semi Finals
Connecticut Bristol 6, Wolfpack 3 (eliminated)

Phoenix 12, Braves 8 (eliminated)
The Braves wilted in the late innings to lose to the top seeded team. Richie Figueroa pitched well, but weary fielders could not give him enough support.
